Prevent Bad Breath

Bad breath is no fun! I am sure we can all agree on this. Bad breath is the product of bad oral hygiene and gastrointestinal health status. Bacteria in these areas are to blame. A healthy diet and daily brushing and flossing is important to help fix the issue of bad breath.

A few things that will help are as follows:

Chewing on halitosis-fighting herbs or steeping in hot water (spearmint, rosemary, eucalyptus)
Eating crunchy vegetables and fruit full of fiber (saliva production increases and cleanses the mouth)
Vitamin D from eating yogurt
Vitamin C from citrus and rich fruits, which helps reduce bad bacteria
Mints and gum can cover bad breath

As you read the items above, did you notice that most of them are also good for your overall health? Eating well and having a daily brushing and flossing routine, along with your daily check-ups will have not only your breath smelling nice and fresh, but your overall oral health a little happier as well! We hopes that our customers take our tips to heart! We are always here to help!
